Well, this all came about very quickly – crazy quick! But I’m so glad that’s the way the little pop up store panned out.
You see I’ve been a) debating opening a store for a while now and b) quietly searching for shop space and comparing rents etc., and wondering how retail owners do it sometimes.
The universe spoke to me and I obeyed.
I was at a function last weekend when by chance I met the loveliest lady called Kerrie who is a florist and has just moved into a shop short term at Sanctuary Cove. My response when she told me was “I didn’t know they did short term leases here”. Kerrie has welcomed me to share part of her shop space and I tell you, Hamptons Style furniture/homewares and flowers are a fantastic match.
Here’s some shots from around the store from day one (moving in day…)
I moved, re-arranged, chatted, and at the end of the day went home with very sore feet
But extremely happy with how far things have come in such a short amount of time.
I’m exactly where I wanted to be.
