It’s the Marina Mirror which I have in the shop, and I got really interested when I saw this because it’s so great to see products that I stock used in different ways and in different spaces. Now I can’t find a source for this one so I have no idea who actually did this room but I think that the mirror actually is the

standout feature of this bathroom.

And this is how I have it displayed in the shop.

Back on track and this afternoon bathrooms were in the back of my mind. I know I would definitely have white wood panelling in my bathroom with a duck egg blue paint colour on the walls. A little like this…

These are my inspiration images thus far but I know in my head exactly what I want. The panelling will be tongue and groove board definitely with the duck egg blue on top. Grey looks great too and is a very close second choice – maybe for the powder room?

Sanctuary Cove has been a flurry of activity over the last week in anticipation of the 25th anniversary of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which begins this Thursday. It’s a big thing. I have been working on some styling for a ladies high tea which is taking place on a boat. The ladies cruise along the water while enjoying their afternoon tea. Sounds lovely. The tables are being styled in black & white with touches of silver. I am going for a very elegant coastal look. Will take pictures and share next week. The high tea is on Saturday afternoon.

I really truly like this quote from John Lennon. I’ve been reading lots of his quotes lately & it seems to me like he is a very smart and a very wise man.

I know it’s nothing interiors related, and a little off track.

He’s my new baby boy. Boston.

Boston’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he’s 9 weeks old now.

I feel like a proud mum of a newborn baby. Boston slept all through the night last night, although we did wake up at 4:54am this morning.

I want you to meet Stephanie Laine. She is the wonderful artist who creates the beautiful artworks here in the HS Store.

Steph is a local Gold Coast girl who gave up a career in graphic design & digital illustration to concentrate solely on her passion of painting.

And here’s some paintings below that are in my shop.

I met Steph at the start of this year when we purchased some art for our house. And I can tell you she is the most down to earth girl.

Been spending as much time as I can with my babies.

We went on a girls date last night to see the movie “Identity Thief” – it’s so funny.

Was way better than I thought it was going to be.

I still have a navy/white crush happening. In fact I have a whole pinterest board dedicated to it.
